mahjong = fear

i always thought mahjong is addictive. but for the past 2 occasions when i played during this chinese new year, it brought a little fear whenever i see them.

dear told me never to fear or get angry over them. they are your "friends" and they have feelings. like them and they will be good to u. hmm...

its normal to always get super mixed up tiles at first but they come in slowly. slowly till someone claim that they r already "ting pai" (waiting for the last tile to win). omg... that is so terrifying.

on another hand, when my tiles r seen to be on perfect winnin strike, its tough to say that u will win for sure. all things can happened.

so tonight, i didnt lose a lot. started winning back at the 2nd round. jus 2 bucks is still ok. overall, i had fun playing with dear, dear's younger sis n his cousin. great knowing his cousin, auntie on this chu er!

reunion relatives and family dinner

so i guess tonight, most of us will be having a cosy reunion dinner with our close ones, either a hot steamboat place at the center of the table or a simple meal. it's a blessing that we all are able to sit around, tucking into the food with small talks and abosrbing all the love from one another.

i just had reunion dinner last night with my relatives where they catered from Elsie's Kitchen. most of my relatives came, except my uncle's wife and youngest children (Jeremy) who was discharge from the hospital on the same day.

i m not sure, but it was kind of weird when my 4th aunt started asking and talking a lot with my younger cousins. talking about friends networking, the importance of getting to know new friends when they are still studying. when we start to work, colleagues will begin to get jealous over you, become like rivals while the friends we know in school will never be like that etc. then she goes about talking about drinking, socialising...

i guess it's been a loooong time since my 4th aunt came to grandma's hse on Sundays and it felt uncomfortable when she started "catching up" with everyone. she didnt spoke to me. hmm... perhaps, she knows i have nothing much to "update" and share. that's the other part that made me feel awkward.

overall this reunion is nice. my grandpa was happy i can tell. dad wasn't there as he had to worked afternoon shift but a sweet thing happened. grandpa actually put an apple in the packet food just for my dad. isn't that so SWEET! haha...

hm... so next yr onwards, i will be having reunion dinner at dear's hse. things will be different... lol!

final visit to the dentist for 2012 i hope

yeap! i got through the few days jus eating on my right n controlling my tibits for the last 5 days. lol! its quite silly but i feel a little lighter... haha!

now, i m gonna have the stitches removed, filling up the decayed bottom tooth n that's it! jus nice for my reunion dinner with my family. yippie!

cos of this dental appt, it made me used up 1 and a half days leaves. sigh... tot of reserving my leaves for honeymoon. nvm. glad that i have this problem off my head.

my left jaw feels a little swoollen. trying hard not to open my mouth so big whenever i eat something. the pain starts when the water i drink flows down into my left bottom extracted (the one that went for a minor surgry) hurts so much that i had to stop whatever i was doing cos the pain is unbearable.

now, erything i eat got to be chewed on the right side... ah! terrible feeling.. it bleeds a little when i overstretch it too much.

so many problems when i grow older? wisdom tooth are such a hassle...

Goodbye wisdom tooth...

it didnt hurt cos the dentist injected a couple of shots into my top right corner gum before he extracted the tooth out.

sadly, i got to make another appointment to extract my other 2 wisdom ones on the left. the top left is like the i extracted today, while the other one at the bottom is gonna be a minor operation; they call it LA Op.

reason being the wisdom tooth at the bottom left is growing slanted, hitting against the side tooth which is a good strong one. food get stuck, hard to brush thus it's causing it to decay a little; that "naughty" one got to go QUICK!

i m not sure. kinda scared cos firstly, it's so DARN EXPENSIVE! how complex is this LA Op gonna be when he said stitches are needed with 1 week mc. that makes it sound extremely frightening.. i m afraid i get fever or i wont be able to join my kickboxing class in that week after the operation. sigh!

nonetheless, it has to go else problems will happen in yrs to come. i still wanna enjoy my cny (not that i m gonna eat those sweets and junks) but, i dont want to have my teeth hurting so much whenever i drink cold drinks...

now my right side hurts when i swallow saliva. arH!!!!
